Privacy Policy

This service ("AI Career Reality Check") is operated for Indian IT professionals and is governed by India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

1. Data we collect

  • Waitlist: email (required), phone (optional).
  • Audit input: resume text, role, employer, stack, experience band — only what you submit.
  • Telemetry: anonymised product analytics. No PII is sent to PostHog.

2. Purpose & legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your explicit consent ("consent_dpdp"). Purposes:

  1. Notify you when the audit opens.
  2. Generate your AI risk score and 90-day plan.
  3. Improve scoring models in aggregate, anonymised form.

3. Storage & region

  • All personal data is stored in ap-south-1 (Mumbai).
  • Raw resume text is retained for a maximum of 30 days, then deleted. Derived, anonymised features are kept longer for model calibration.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share only with sub-processors strictly necessary for operation (e.g. Supabase, hosting, email/WhatsApp delivery), under DPA.

5. Your rights under DPDP

You can:

  • Access your data
  • Correct it
  • Erase it
  • Withdraw consent (which stops future processing)
  • Nominate a representative

6. Children

Service is intended for working professionals (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. RLS on the database. Access is logged.
